The International Journal for Computer and Emerging Technologies (IJCET), ISSN 2348-1943 (Online), is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by International Research Based Journals (IRBJ), India. It publishes original research articles, review articles and short communications in computer science, network security and IT infrastructure.

Aims and Scope

IJCET publishes work in computer science, network security and IT infrastructure only. Submissions outside these areas are returned without review. Main areas:

Peer Review Process

  1. The editor screens each submission for scope, format and plagiarism within 7 days.
  2. Suitable papers are sent to at least two independent reviewers under double-blind review.
  3. Reviewers recommend accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.
  4. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. A first decision is usually given within 4–6 weeks.
  5. Accepted papers are copy-edited, assigned to an issue and published online.

Publication Frequency

Biannual (June and December).

Publication Ethics

The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Plagiarism: every manuscript is checked with similarity software before review; overall similarity above 10% leads to rejection or return for revision.
  • Authorship: everyone listed must have contributed substantially and approved the final version.
  • Conflicts of interest: authors, reviewers and editors must declare them.
  • Data fabrication or falsification leads to rejection, or retraction if found after publication.
  • Corrections and retractions are published openly and linked to the original article.
  • Use of AI tools must be disclosed; AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Article Processing Charges

There is no charge to submit or for review. After acceptance, authors pay ₹1,500 (Indian authors) or US$16 (overseas authors). Payment never affects the editorial decision.

Archiving

Articles are preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
