Physical link Failure localization in an IP-over-WDM Optical Network : A Review

Abstract

In review paper we have analysed papers like a scalable approach for survival virtual topology routing in optical WDM networks and issues for routing in optical layer. In which we have successfully computed the survivable routing of virtual topologies belonging to these sub-classes against link/SRLG failures for topologies of size up to 24 nodes. And the second states that study three such aspects which impact routing: Network elements which are reconfigurable, but in constrained ways, Transmission impairments which may make some routes unusable and Diversity.
